Youth Program Overview
"Love the Lord Your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with
all your mind and with all your strength. This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment
greater than these."

An ideal youth program compliments the unity of the church rather than competes against the individual family. To that end, it is vital that our youth group have both adult and teen coordinators, providing personalized ownership in this ministry. Our teens need you as much if not more than they need one another. Your involvement in their spiritual direction is so important. In fact, it was God who mandated such a charge from the very beginning...
"Impress them (commandments) on your children. Talk about them when you sit
at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."
(Deuteronomy 6:7)
There are many areas of involvement in our youth program. With family, academic and extracurricular activities crowding our schedules, it is conceded that not every parent or teenager will be able to attend every single youth event. However, it is the aim of this ministry to provide ample opportunities of involvement for those "pick & choose" times that will still keep our teenagers connected.
God has so richly blessed His church in League City with exceedingly talented individuals. Where can the Lord use your talent in our youth ministry? Decide where you and your teen can assist in coordinating any number of our youth group activities and begin the process of multiplying the rewards.
